Lextel has provided engineering services to various clients since 1992. Lextel's expertise is and has always been in the fields of digital hardware engineering, embedded software development, and real time systems development.

Lextel has developed, marketed, manufactured, and supported off the shelf products that were based on work initially started as contract development projects. These products have been sold to, and customized for, the same client base and industries that have comprised Lextel's engineering service clients.

Lextel was started and is operated by Norman J. Bagley, and is currently based in North Andover, MA. Engineering staff is drawn from local talent in the metropolitan Boston, MA and southern NH areas. We typically do not outsource engineering to non-US based outsourcing firms, although we do have relationships with such firms and can make use of them if the specific circumstances warrant it.
